Bobby Kelton News
“You will suffer a loss when you are 50 years old. Sure, I’ve lost a few close friends, some in the comedy community. Since they’re my age it’s always a shock. The passing of George Schumer, my best friend since kindergarten on Long Island, is what breaks my heart the most. Three years ago, he suffered a heart attack and died. I just talked to him the night before. Aside from my grandparents, this is really the first time something terrible has happened to someone so close to me.
Then you start to worry that you might not talk back to the people you’re talking to. But today, I chat with George while jogging.
People often label the deceased with the phrase “He or she must have made this happen.” Ironically, my grandfather, whose name was George, loved to fish. My 92-year-old mother recently visited me in Florida and caught nine fish. My mother and I both said, “George must have made it happen.”
Back to Long Island George. We have a passion for the San Francisco Giants, and oddly enough, right before his heart attack, he wrote me in an email, “If they win the World Series, I will die a lucky death. ” You have to realize that we’ve been waiting all our lives for the Giants to win, and two years after George passed away, they did!
George, who resides near San Francisco, requested a cremation. Due to a show I had to perform, I was unable to attend the service. But when I arrived on the West Coast a few months later, I asked George’s ex-wife to take me to the tree where his ashes were scattered near his Richmond home. A baseball card with a picture of me wearing the Giants uniform that I used as a business card was buried in a hole I dug in the ground near his cremated remains.
I just had a great feeling about it afterwards. In years to come, I wonder if that card will still be buried there. Since Mr Sharp had attempted to help the Prime Minister deal with his personal finances, the report concluded that “there is a risk that Mr. Sharp was offered the appointment” and/or “that he influenced the former prime minister”. general to nominate him.” by notifying him of his application before he submits it.”
Although the meeting between Mr Case and Mr Blyth was adjourned, the report said that although his involvement was “very limited” in Mr Johnson’s personal finances, it should have been disclosed.
