SIMPSONVILLE, SC – The community of Simpsonville is grieving the untimely passing of Blake Allen Fulton, a cherished resident known for his zest for life and love for the outdoors. Blake, 40, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of adventure and family bonds.

Born and raised in Andrews, SC, Blake was the beloved son of Phillip and Carolyn Casselman Fulton. A graduate of Clemson University in 2006, he embarked on a career journey with GE that showcased his dedication and commitment. His pursuit of knowledge led him to earn an MBA from Clemson in 2011, a testament to his drive for excellence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Blake was a fervent backpacker, traveler, and nature enthusiast. He had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and Clemson Football, often sharing these interests with his cherished companions – his wife, Carla, and their son, Henry. The couple’s adventures included exhilarating hikes that allowed them to forge unforgettable memories together.

Blake’s vibrant spirit is carried on by his beloved wife, Carla Fulton, and their son, Henry. He also leaves behind his sister, Lesley Fontaine, and her husband Tyler, along with their children Garrett and Nola Fontaine. Ryan Berry and his wife, Jackie, Blake’s brother-in-law, also survive him, along with their sons Nolan and Turner Berry. Cindy Berry, Blake’s mother-in-law, is left with cherished memories of her son-in-law.

In the midst of grief, the community will come together to honor Blake’s memory. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast location. The memorial service, a celebration of Blake’s remarkable life, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in the Southeast Chapel.
