In the Spring of 2017, he was a teacher at GTU for “Modern/Contemporary Jewish Thought,” earning praise from students who described him as a “wonderful, gentle man who knew how to get the best out of every student.” Bernie’s excellence as an instructor was matched only by his kindness and consideration.
