“Today, December 23, 2023, our beloved Samboy passed away peacefully. A man of Faith, exceptional courage, humility, and grace. He embodied the very best of humanity,” the statement conveyed via his official account read, two days before Christmas on his official Facebook page.
Samboy Lim’s passing was due to illness on December 23, 2023. His final moments were spent at the Medical City surrounded by his family. This followed a cardiac arrest incident at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City in November 2014, which led to a comatose state and subsequent ongoing treatment at home.
