Austin Robinson of Ashland, managing coordinator at Bethesda Services, dies at 35: Obituary

Ashland, KY – Austin Robert “A-Rob” Robinson, aged 35, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1988, in Ashland, the beloved son of William “Bill” and Lisa Davis Robinson.

“Bethesda is heartbroken to share that Austin Robinson, our mens’ house manager, has passed away.Austin was an enthusiastic advocate for his folks. All day today, as we’ve helped clients process this tragedy, we have heard story after story about their love for Austin and his very obvious love and care for them. Austin mattered. He made a difference in the lives of many here at Bethesda with his laugh and positive attitude. Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to his family and all who loved him. Please keep his family, as well as our Bethesda family, in your prayers.Godspeed, Austin.“They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31”

Austin was a Managing Coordinator at Bethesda Services, dedicating his time and skills to make a positive impact on others’ lives. Known for his warm and welcoming nature, he never met a stranger and always wore a smile that brightened the room. He had a deep love for his family and friends, cherishing every moment spent with them.

In addition to his parents, Austin is survived by his children, Brynnlee Robinson, Gabriel Robinson, Ayla Robinson, Aldyn Robinson, and Silas Robinson. He is also survived by his brother, Blake (Katelyn) Robinson of Georgetown, KY; sisters, Savannah (Frank) Lake of Florida and Sydney (Jake) McCloud of Rush, KY; maternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Davis of Georgetown, KY; fiancée, Samantha Fischer of Ashland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard Sands and Patricia Robinson, uncles, Richard Sands Robinson II, Gary Robinson, Granville Neal, and cousin, Richard Sands Robinson III.

The funeral service to honor Austin’s life will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM at STEEN FUNERAL HOME, 13th STREET CHAPEL, officiated by Pastor Marty Gute and Pastor Gerardo Mejia. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will welcome friends and loved ones for a visitation from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Family and friends are also invited to join a candlelight vigil on Thursday evening, September 21, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the pond at Ashland Central Park.
