Atlanta mass shooting suspect ‘Deion Patterson’ is mentally unstable, Says his Mother

Minyone Patterson, mother of Deion Patterson, suspect in the Atlanta mass shooting that took place at Midtown Atlanta Medical Center, revealed that her son has some mental instability due to medication from the Health System Veteran.

According to Minyone, Deion, who was recently discharged from the Coast Guard, wanted medication for anxiety and depression, but the VA refused to give him a prescription because it was too addictive.

“He got some messy meds from the VA. All he wanted was an Ativan (a drug used to treat anxiety), ” his mother explained to the Daily Beast. Minyone believes that the drugs affected his son’s judgment.
