Asari Dokubo, a Niger Delta veteran, was caught on camera pointing an AK-47 weapon and threatening to kill every Igbo, a dominant ethnic group in southeastern Nigeria.
Mr Dokubo was heard calling Igbos a “slave” in a video that went viral on social media platforms and he stated that if the British government did not intervene, he would continue to “sell” Igbos.
The video was published by Mr. Dokubo in late September 2022, but it became widely known only a few days later, in October, about eight months ago, according to an independent study by PREMIUM TIMES.
In the video, the veteran appears to be condemning Peter Obi’s Labor Party (LP) supporters for lying about hosting a two million-man match for the LP candidate in Jos, Plateau State in a The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people.

“I don’t know any Igbos. I’m not sure how they got there. I know I would still sell them the way my father sold them without British intervention,” he declared.
