San Antonio, TX – The San Antonio community is reeling from the tragic loss of Andrew Keller, a resident of the city and an employee of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Andrew’s passing on Saturday, November 4, 2023, has left his family and friends in deep sorrow, and it was through a poignant social media post that the news of his demise was shared.
The heartfelt message read, “Please keep former Ag club officer and member Andrew Keller in your thoughts and prayers as he passed away this weekend. He will always be part of our PAC Ag club family.” Speculation surrounds the cause of Andrew Keller’s untimely death, with indications pointing to a fatal shooting incident on that fateful day.
The shooting incident took place on the north side of San Antonio, specifically at the intersection of Austin Highway and Perrin Beitel, at around 11 p.m. Reports suggest that a dispute that began in a bar spilled out onto the street, culminating in a tragic outcome. When the police arrived at the scene, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Regrettably, one of the men was declared deceased on-site, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital, claiming self-defense in the altercation. Both men involved in the altercation are reported to be in their 60s, and an ongoing investigation is underway to determine the full details of the incident, including Andrew’s role in it.
Andrew Keller, originally from Ira, Texas, was a resident of San Antonio. He was an alumnus of Cornerstone Christian Schools, graduating in the class of 2013, and had furthered his education at Northeast Lakeview College. In 2020, he successfully graduated from Palo Alto College with a degree in Agriculture and Animal Science. He was a dedicated former Hardware Associate of Caps Team 2 at Walmart and had also worked as a Kennel Technician at Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital in San Antonio.
Keller was not only known for his academic and professional achievements but also for his leadership in the PAC Ag program. Friends and colleagues remember him for his kind-hearted nature, dedication to his work, and his commitment to helping animals.
