Andres Garcia Passed Away At The Age Of 81

Andres Garcia, a famous Dominican-Mexican performer, died on April 4 at the age of 81. He died of cirrhosis, or severe cirrhosis. Garcia has been ill for a while. His wife, Margarita Portillo, was with him at their Acapulco home at the time of his death. According to Portillo, Garcia received a blood transfusion on April 2, 2023, and his constitution is not so strong. Portillo also shared her sadness on Instagram, posting a photo of Garcia and writing:

“I would like to announce to the public who have always watched and loved my husband, my family and friends, and the media that my husband, Andres Garcia, love of my loves, is resting beside him. Our Jesus.”

Garcia returned home after receiving a blood transfusion but his body was exhausted, she, along with her sister and carer, were by his side when he died. She continued to say:

“Andres leaves this world at 3:07 p.m. Starting tomorrow, April 5, at 9:00 a.m., his remains will be buried here, his home, on Calle Street. Urracas number 20 of Fraccionamiento Costa Brava in the city and harbor of Acapulco.”
