She’s loved art since she was a child, but on a school trip to the Columbus Museum, she discovered that art is more than just something in a book or an encyclopedia; that’s real life. Then she determined to make a career out of her paintings. Her parents had hoped that she would pursue a career in medicine. Academically, Sherald attended St. Anne-Pacelli in Columbus.
