The UFC’s sole two-division champion announced his retirement on Saturday, after winning the UFC 289 main event after making one more error-free title defense. To win a widely unanimous decision in her final battle, Nunes overcame Irene Aldana.
During her two title reigns, she successfully defended her bantamweight belt six times. Nunes won the match by unanimous decision from all three referees, 50-44, 50-44 and 50-43.
