The Derry, – New Hampshire community and the Turtleboy community are grappling with the heartbreaking loss of Alec Hall, a dedicated Turtle Rider who tragically passed away by suicide. Alec had recently endured the profound pain of burying her stillborn baby and leaves behind a teenage son. While many never had the opportunity to meet Alec in person, her presence was deeply felt in the Turtleboy community, where she engaged in meaningful conversations for several years, often revolving around Turtleboy content. She shared cherished moments by sending pictures of her son proudly donning Turtleboy gear.
Even though Alec and Turtleboy never met face-to-face, there was a strong connection that transcended the digital realm. They exchanged messages over the years, primarily discussing Turtleboy. In 2021, when Turtleboy took a mental health break, Alec reached out with one of the most heartfelt messages, offering support and encouragement during a challenging time.
Bridget Hall shared a fb post for her sister. She stated that:
If anyone has printed hard copies photos of my sister Alec and would like to add them to her poster boards for her memorial. My sister Becky will be collecting them. Message me for her address or give them to her yourself.Everyone has written such beautiful messages and posts on FB. I wish she knew how many people loved her and how much she left a fingerprint on them. I thank you all from my whole Family. The outpour of love has been tremendous. We are all very grateful.
