HB Entertainment announced on December 22, 2022 that Ahn Jae-hyun will be returning to his drama after three years with The Real Deal Has Come. He is expected to replace Kwak Si-yang, who withdrew from the series due to a packed schedule, as the main star in the next film.
Real Deal Has Comed is a 15-episode weekend drama. The drama will tell the story of Oh Yeon-do, a single woman who enters into a contract marriage with Gong Tae-kyung. Gong Tae-kyung will be played by Ahn Jae-hyun, while Oh Yeon-do will be played by Baek Jin-hee.

Ahn Jae-hyun’s character Gong Tae-kyung works as a gynecologist in “The Real Deal Has Coming”
Ahn Jae-hyun will play an extraordinary and brilliant doctor and gynecologist who specializes in infertility. Throughout the play, the character will demonstrate his skills by performing his trade honestly. Gong Tae-kyung’s life changes when he meets the lovely Oh Yeon-du, a pregnant single woman. Sparks flare up when Gong Tae-kyung and Oh Yeon-du meet. As time passed and they became closer, the couple decided to enter into a fictitious marriage contract.
After the marriage contract, they go through many stages of life, including romance, pregnancy, etc. Gong Tae-kyung agrees to take care of Oh Yeon-du’s newborn child. The Real Deal from the TV series’ title The Real Deal Has Come is considered a reference to the unborn child in the play, around which is a growing family. The main character Gong Tae-part kyung was originally played by actor Kwak Si-yang, however, he left the series due to his busy schedule. He is currently filming the upcoming film Desperate Pursuit, in which he plays the main character.
The actor tried but couldn’t combine the timetable for both the movie and the TV series. He opted out of the play to protect the production team from further harm. The Real Deal Has Coming will air at 7:55 pm on KBS, replacing Three Bold Siblings. The film was written by Jo Jung-joo, who was appreciated for her previous works such as Cheer Up, Mr. Kim, Are You Human, and The Partner.
Han Joon-seo, who has worked on projects such as School 2, Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, Scandal in Old Seoul, etc., will direct the film. Ahn Jae-hyun and Baek Jin-hee will appear alongside Kim Sa-kwon, who will play Cha Hyun-woo. Cha Hwa-yun, Choi Dae-chul and Cha Joo-young are among the supporting actors. Baek Jin-hee, the female lead, is widely recognized for her roles in television series such as Feeling Good When Dead and The Jugger. Recently, she also appeared as a guest on the TV series Curtain Call.
