Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s husband and musician, passed away on Friday, February 17, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 1:21 p.m., and officers were quickly dispatched to Pickler’s apartment. Kyle and Kellie have been married for a long time but have no children. The circumstances surrounding Jacobs’ suicide are unknown, however, Kellie told police that her husband had been absent since she awoke. Pickler’s aide summoned police officers for assistance when the upstairs bedroom door wouldn’t open.
News Channel 5’s Henry Rothenberg paid tribute to Jacobs on Facebook by uploading a video and writing,
“Your companionship, your talent for bringing people together through music…you will be missed, Kyle Jacobs.”
Kyle’s most recent Instagram post contains a photo of Lee Brice’s Hello World album and the post states that the disc has been certified platinum. Jacobs acknowledged his excitement at the news, saying he was part of the profile and felt honored to be a part of it.
