David Costabile has been married to Eliza Baldi for over a decade. Before they met, the two had been in the entertainment industry for a long time. They were running alone and unopposed. However, it wasn’t until they met and began dating that Costabile found his equal, both personally and professionally.
Marriage and Children of David Costabile and Eliza Baldi
It is unclear when Costabile and Baldi first met, but by the end of the 2000s, they had already begun thinking about getting married. On Friday, July 22, 2011, they got engaged. The only thing they state on their wedding registry website about how it occurred is that they were in San Francisco. The wedding took place a little over a year later. According to their registration, the couple married on June 16, 2012, in front of their family and friends at Kings Oaks Farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is worth mentioning, however, that their wedding date is listed on IMDb as June 25, 2012.
Their wedding theme was inspired by the “last moment of Felini’s Amacord.” The party concluded with a family-style outdoor Italian meal in the middle of a field. Costabile and Baldi wanted to have children rather rapidly. Lucy Rae Costabile, their first child, was born in July 2015. Julia Grace Costabile, their second child, was born in March 2017. The family of four took a trip to Ireland after Julia was born. On August 10, 2018, Baldi joked on Instagram about having to carry her daughter’s favorite doll to the bar when she needed a drink.
“Vacationing in Ireland with a one-year-old just means bringing dolly to the bar,” she wrote beside a photo of a pink-dressed doll put in front of a large glass of Guinness and some peanuts. There have been no recent postings concerning their children from either parent. The family resides in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York.
David Costabile met his match in the industry.
Despite not being a big name in Hollywood, Costabile is an industry veteran. He’s done it all: movies, TV series, and plays. The Good Wife actor, an MFA graduate of New York University, even taught acting when things became tough for him in the beginning. However, if he is a master of his trade, his wife is most likely better than him. She, who also has an MFA from New York University, is unquestionably more accomplished than him, at least on paper.
If Costabile has done it all in terms of performing, Baldi has done it all in a broader sense: she has experience with both theater and on-camera acting, as well as stage directing and teaching acting, directing, and text analysis at prestigious institutions, including the one from which she graduated. Her teaching and directing CV far outstrips his, and her theatrical experience is likely to do the same. She has provided him with sound advice throughout the years. Recalling one of them, Costabile claimed Baldi told him to always be ready to grasp his luck if it came his way.
