Bourdin claims to have obtained the identities of at least 500 individuals, of which three are missing. The Frenchman is best known for stealing the identity of 13-year-old American boy Nicholas Barclay. Nicholas went missing while playing basketball with friends on June 13, 1994.
Frédéric Bourdin was born on June 13, 1974, into a family of a poor French mother. He lived most of his youth in poverty, suffering many adversities.
