Leicester, UK – Leicestershire Police has announced a significant development in the Matthew Schofield murder case, with the arrest of four more individuals connected to the ongoing investigation. The arrests come as part of the exhaustive efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding Schofield’s tragic death.
The four arrested men, aged 23, 25, 26, and 31, are suspected of assisting an offender and are currently in police custody. This brings the total number of arrests related to the incident to 12. Three men, aged 20, 22, and 30, were previously arrested on suspicion of murder and are presently on police bail. Additionally, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released under investigation.
