35-years-old Angel Jauregui killed in Ramona shooting: News update

In a somber development, authorities have identified the victim of a recent shooting on State Route 78 in Ramona. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department revealed that 35-year-old Ramona resident, Angel Jauregui, lost his life in the tragic incident.

The shooting occurred just before 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Haverford Road and SR-78, as multiple gunshots were reported, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Jauregui with multiple gunshot wounds near a red Ford F150 at the scene.

Despite immediate efforts by paramedics who transported him to a local hospital, Jauregui succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
