Part 1 of the Parent Test will begin on Thursday, December 15, at 10 p.m. ET. The hour-long special, titled Which Way Is Right?, will be available on Hulu and ABC’s websites the day after it airs on television. The new series will include parenting expert Dr Adolph Brown and host Ali Wentworth visiting the homes of 12 different parents, from helicopter parenting to successful parenting. With various arguments and disagreements, parents will find a single parenting method that is suitable for the present time.
Furthermore, Dr. Brown and Wentworth will conduct a number of tasks with children to draw specific conclusions and make recommendations for parents. Description of the Parent Quiz series:
“In the ultimate stress test of parenting, twelve families are scrutinized. Today’s hunt for the most successful parenting techniques begins with hot topics and emotional hurdles, and ends with shared lessons.”
What can we expect from The Parent Test season one premiere?
The first episode of the Parent Test series will feature 12 parents eager to raise happy and healthy kids, and will take them through the Sky Diving Challenge and the Yes Day Challenge. In the past, kids would be encouraged to take risks by jumping from a board into a pool, where they could experience pressure from other kids. This effort will be difficult for the kids, and as in one promotional video, one kid even refuses to dance. However, some children overcame their anxieties and won, much to their parents’ surprise.
The Yes Day challenge requires parents to give in to all their children’s demands for 24 hours. In one commercial, a couple of parents became anxious when their children ate cake for breakfast, while another couple’s children made a mess in bed by eating on it.
In addition, the program will feature parents sharing about their own parenting experiences after growing up in a “difficult” family. One woman said in the ad that she wished she had a father like another parent who took part in the experiment.

Dr. Adolph Brown is a renowned clinical psychologist with 30 years of therapeutic practice. He will be the show’s parenting expert, having constructive criticism-based dialogues with different parents regarding their children. According to Dr Brown, the show is modeled on the Australian Parent’s Guide series and will cover everything not covered in the previous episode. He also said:
“Based on all the parenting methods presented, any parent following along will discover that effective parenting is really inconvenient. People don’t discuss it. It’s something we all choose to do and aspire to be better at.”
The experiment’s parents represent different parenting approaches and will engage in discussions about sensitive issues such as spanking. Parents will work with Dr. Brown and Wentworth to create a new approach to parenting.
