In another situation, Monique admitted that she had never met Derek before. She even monitors Derek’s activities in her absence using a secret video camera in their home. The actress shared her side of the story. Chris had previously earned $100,000 after being brutally beaten by Rikers Island officers. He gave Gabby half of what she said she had spent on “the bills, our apartment, the furniture, the credit card debt and the car.” She later admitted that Chris was now bankrupt, but that it was she, not his mother, who supported him.
