Julia Haart’s ex-husband, Silvio Scaglia, has dropped an $850,000 lawsuit against her. Silvio Scaglia, whose net worth is estimated at $1-1.5 billion, first filed the complaint in February 2022. He said Julia had withdrawn money from her Freedom Holding account. According to Us Weekly, Julia’s staff said the accusation was “not fact-based”.
Julia was first seen by the public on the first season of Netflix’s My Unorthodox Life. Julia was introduced to the show as a fashion designer and mother of four living in Manhattan. She rose to fame after fleeing her ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Monsey, New York. Julia’s life seemed great until the end of season one, however in season two of My Unorthodox Life, Julia is seen going through a difficult divorce from Silvio. Silvio and Julia have been involved in a court battle since early 2022.

Scaglia is a Swiss media and technology entrepreneur, born in 1958. The co-founder of Freedom Holding is the creator of Fastweb, an Italian telecommunications company. Elite World Corporation is controlled by this holding corporation. Silvio became the leader of Elite World Group in 2011. In 2020, he also founded SHS Management, an AI-powered asset management company. According to Bustle, Silvio has a net worth of 1-1.5 billion USD.
Silvio studied at the Polytechnic University of Turin. He began his professional career in the aerospace sector. He also served as a consultant to McKinsey & Company. Silvio was appointed CEO of Omnitel, a start-up telecommunications business, in 1995. In 1999, he founded his own company, e.Biscom, with banker Francesco Micheli. When the company went public in 2000, he was valued at 10 billion euros. After the merger, e.Biscom became Fastweb.
Silvio sold its stake in the company to Swisscom after being named one of the Most Influential Innovators in New Technology. He also founded Babelgum, a YouTube rival that was dissolved in 2012. Silvio married My Unorthodox Life actress Julia in June 2019 after divorcing first wife Monica Aschei in 2018. Julia was appointed CEO and co-owner of Elite World Group together.
Julia filed for divorce from Silvio on February 9, 2022, after two years of marriage. During the couple’s divorce, the designer was fired from Elite World Group. Days later, Page Six announced that Julia had filed a restraining order against Silvio, claiming that she was “scared” of him. According to her petition:
“In January 2022, I faced [Silvio] about his abusive behavior and told him that anyone who heard the way he behaved and talked to me would think he was a disgusting person. In reaction, [he] threatened me, saying, ‘I will kill you if you speak in public about the way I treat you or the children.’”
Silvio and Julia have been embroiled in a number of lawsuits throughout their ongoing divorce battle, including an $850,000 claim against Julia for cash misuse. Silvio, on the other hand, denied the complaint. Julia, star of My Unorthodox Life, told TMZ on December 14:
“I feel for the fact that Silvio dropped these lawsuits with prejudice, that is, in perpetuity, on the due date of discovery,” he said. I do not pay and want to continue to defraud and defame Silvio and others involved in those lawsuits. Now, my goal and priority is to recover with the help and support of my family, and to continue to create businesses that will empower people.”
My Unorthodox Life Season 2 premieres on Netflix on December 2, 2022, with more fashion, family, women’s empowerment, spirituality, awesomeness and of course Haart.
