The complete chemical block atomic table and quick mnemonic tips
Entering 8th grade, students will begin to familiarize themselves with Chemistry. Along with basic knowledge such as the valency table, the atomic mass table of chemistry will accompany you throughout the process of learning chemistry and is a tool for you to handle chemistry problems quickly. best. Share the following article to memorize the atomic mass table faster!
I. WHAT IS THE MOUNTAIN AUTOMATIC?
1. What is atomic mass?
The atomic mass of an atom is the relative mass of that element atom, which is the sum of the masses of electrons, protons, and neutrons, but because the electron mass is so small it is usually not counted, so it is possible that the atom mass approximates the mass number of the nucleus.
Or more simply:
Atomic mass is the mass of an atom in carbon units. different factors, the atomic mass is also different.
For example: Atomic mass of Nitrogen (N) = 14 (dvC), of Magnesium (Mg) = 24 (dvC).
2. Atomic mass
The atomic mass unit is a unit of mass for the masses of atoms and molecules. It is conventionally equal to one-twelfth the mass of carbon 12. Therefore, the atomic mass unit is also known as the carbon unit, denoted dvc.
3. Average atomic mass
Most chemical elements are mixtures of many isotopes with a definite percentage of atoms => the atomic mass of elements with many isotopes is the average atomic mass of the mixture of isotopes taking into account the respective percentage of atoms.
4. What is the atomic mass unit?
The unit of Carbon is the unit used to measure the mass of an atom, with the symbol unit C. One carbon unit is equal to 1/12 of the mass of the atomic nucleus of the isotope carbon C12.
Because the common C12 isotope carbon atom and the error index is very low, the International Metrology Institute has agreed to use this Carbon unit.

The complete chemical block atom table and quick mnemonic tips 3
1. Regularly do chemistry homework
This is the optimal method for quickly memorizing the atomic mass table. Once you understand the core of the content you will quickly learn its formula. And after you have memorized the formulas, you should practice often, sometimes have to review it so you don’t forget.
2. Learn through the atomic mass song
Once there are songs about this chemical block atom, it will be easier to memorize and memorize. Here are the 2 most memorable atomic mass songs. Please refer!

The complete chemical block atom table and quick mnemonic tips 4
1. Find the element in the compound:
For the first steps in chemistry, this is one of the most common types of lessons. Here is a simple illustrative example:
The compound of metal A combines with acid H2SO4H2SO4 to produce a salt with the formula ASO4ASO4. The total molecular mass of this compound is 160 units. Identify factor A.
We can easily solve this problem as follows:
On the atomic mass table we see
The atomic mass of S is :32
The atomic mass of oxygen is :16
According to the compound formula, we have A+32+16×4=160
>> A=64. It is easy to see that 64 is the atomic mass of Copper. So the factor to look for is Cu.
2. Find the factor when knowing the atomic mass
For a simple multiple-choice exercise in grade 8, you often come across some questions like
Identify the element whose atomic mass is twice that of oxygen
To do this exercise, you need to know that the atomic mass of oxygen is 16, the element whose atomic mass is twice that of oxygen has an atomic mass of 32. It is easy to see, the answer to the question is sulfur.
So we’ve brought you the most complete table of atoms and chemical masses, along with some quick mnemonic tips. Hopefully, after sharing the same article, you have better mastered this area of knowledge. The chemical formulas have also been shared by us in great detail. Find out more!
